Joint Making Device

The Most commonly used joining method of conventional fabricated belts are:

 

- Finger Joining Method

- Skived Joining Method

 

Corresponding to these joining methods, joint finger punching device and skiving device are developed respectively for belt joining purpose

 

Finger Punching Device

 

  • Also called die-cutting device which punch the belt ends into the desired finger pattern for joining.

  • Different finger patterns can be obtained by choosing the right punch set with adjusting the correct stepping pitch.

  • Belt end is fixed by pneumatic clamp on punch pad before start.

Skiving device

 

•It is a motor-driven roller grinder to skive or grind gradually down on the belt ends.

•Skiving length of the belt end is adjustable by the tilt level of the sliding table.

•The maximum skiving width (90° joint angle) of the device is 300 mm for power transmission belts or narrow conveyor belts.
